Overall we had a wonderful time on our cruise. I cannot say enough about the staff on celebrity cruise. However, the cruise line itself nickle dimes You for everything. You're almost forced to buy all the extras just to have an enjoyable cruise. And all the extras are just super expensive. Soft drinks cost restaurants and cruises pennies. Yet they want to charge over $300 for the week. It's absolutely ridiculous. And they have signs up at all the water stations to not fill your water bottle. Because of course they want you to purchase bottled water and purchase soda and purchase everything. I did not like that. We filled our water bottles anyways.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Aside from one employer who lost her mind when our party tried to board with our handicap mother, it was fine. (We had previously checked with the cruise line to ensure that we would all be able to board together). However, one of the ships employees named Martin took our mother and allowed us to follow him and we were able to board together. He was very calm and very professional and very kind.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food was not outstanding but it was good.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The gym was great, clean and well equipped. The games were entertaining.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The actual performers were decent. However, we've seen better on other cruises. The times of the main shows were horrible. They did not coincide with dining times. We were only able to catch the 2 late night shows because of our dining time.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was exceptional and went out of their way to please/help us.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very well maintained and very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Overall, the cabin was very clean. The area where the TV was was a little dusty and look like it had been missed. However, the bathroom was very clean. We really did enjoy the size of the stateroom. We feel like it is much bigger than some of the other staterooms we've had on other cruises.
Ship tip
I would say don't waste your money on Wi-Fi because it doesn't work very well and the ship's app is absolutely atrocious.
You can easily fill your water bottle at the water station. Just fill up their water cup then use the cup to fill your bottle. You just can’t put your bottle you have been drinking on under the spout. It is a sanitary reason.
They don't want you to directly fill your water bottle because of safety and sanitary reasons, that's why you're supposed to fill a cup and use that to fill your bottle.
