I was recuperating from a surgery 2 1/5 weeks prior to the cruise. This was the perfect healing cruise for me. The ship was easy to get around and we could take our time and relax when needed. Go grateful for this experience!!

We ate in the buffet for breakfast and a few lunches. The variety was good and the food was very good. Deserts were excellent. We ate in the main dining roo every night and loved everything we had. Service was great and getting in for the anytime dining was easy. Sea nights they gave us a buzzer and we got in in about 25-30 minutes. We were seated right away on port nights.
Onboard Activities

We discovered that the pools cleared out in the evening, so we went swimming after dinner and had the adult pool and hot tub all to ourselves. Wonderful view watching the sunset.

We didn’t see all the shows, but the ones that we saw were very good.

Ship Quality

I really loved that there were a lot of places to sit out of the sun and the seating faced the water. I’m a ginger and can’t take long periods of sun, so I really appreciated that. The ship was very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

We loved the size of the cabin and throughly enjoyed the balcony. The bathroom had plenty of room and storage for our toiletries. It was also very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only drawback was not enough drawers to put away our clothes.
Ship tip
It is an older crowd and not a loud party ship. I’m not a loud party person, so I really appreciated it.
Bermuda was wonderful. We bought a 3 day ferry and bus pass and used it quite a bit. It would be nice to have a ferry schedule on the ship before we got off. We missed one by minutes the first day. We rented an electric car the second day and had a great time. I do think when I go again I would do an excursion to get more history.
We got off the ship very quickly. But the pick up area was awful. They had a lot of area blocked off and it caused quite a bottleneck. If the had opened the entire area that would have helped a lot.
Appreciate your detailed feedback. Bermuda is still on our “to do” list. A cruise is a wonderful way to recoup from surgery (or anything that says you should relax). Although it sounds like you were busy. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
