Review summary

makes cruising easy! We have booked several through Tina and have had amazing trips and memories. This one was a smaller low-key trip for just the two of us. We decided to let our kids and friends do their own thing and we went to the sunshine. We are looking forward to a longer trip next year.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy access to the ship. Basically walked from the parking lot onto the ship with zero effort.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Found the best old fashioned in the casino. Enjoyed the Tuscan for dinner twice. Overall food and options across the ship were great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed daily trivia and met some great people on ad-hoc teams. Mixology was one of our favorite onboard activities.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
There were several musicians we enjoyed in different bars and public spaces. Nice diversity. DJ also did a great job of mixing music for us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
From the minute we got on board the staff was amazing. It felt like they were fresh and eager to make our vacation special. Dimitar took care of us in several lounges, and Sanju was a great waiter in the main dining room.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The s hip was very clean, it is in need of a refresh. Carpet and a few a few other things need attention. The quality of the people on board, weather, and being on vacation was not impacted by the age of the ship though.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very typical cabin for this type of ship. Clean, ample storage. Bed was firmer than we were expecting, but our room steward added a top layer and helped out where he could.

Ship tip

Eat at the Tuscan! You can find Buffalo Trace in the Casino bar.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

3 out of 5
we only got on the ship here, did not really examine it as a port of call.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

3 out of 5
Cabo is not my favorite place. Highly recommend going on the ship's Salsa-Salsa excursion. That was a highlight of the cruise.

San Diego, California

5 out of 5
San Diego was an amazing place to visit. We did a walking food tour in Little Italy, it was not an excursion through the ship. The food and guide was awesome. Ask for Anthony!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Never great, I mean we have to leave the ship! Walking off was as easy as walking on. While it was no fun to do customs in San Diego, it was nice not having to do anything during disembarkation.
