Celebrity Eclipse is a fabulous ship. Yes, it is "older" but so well kept and the cabins are wonderful. You could not ask for better service, food or overall enjoyment of a vacation on the sea.

Fantastic food and service. So glad to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the MDR. Main dining room and Tuscan Grille were fabulous. Buffet was a buffet. Not really a buffet fan.
Onboard Activities

The Solarium (adult only) was our favorite place to relax, hot tub, swim, read on padded lounge chars inside but still with views. Trivia and views in Sky Lounge were great! Comfy seats. Deck 4 and 5 were hopping and had lots of seating to enjoy a martini or glass of wine.

We liked the comedy (2 nights). The stage shows were not our taste--all musicals and dancing. They were okay.

Amazing from beginning to end. Room steward was delightful and kept the room pristine. We had morning service and evening turndown as well (which a lot of ships we have been on have stopped doing)Our waitstaff were fantastic. They remembered us and we were seated in the same area every night (even with select dining).

Loved the ship layout. Plenty of elevators even with only 2 banks. Loved the aft panoramic ones! Enjoyed all the lounges--all had comfy chairs to relax and hang out.
Cabin / Stateroom

I am spoiled forever by having had this cabin. It is a normal balcony cabin, but with an aft view. Amazing! The bathroom was the best we have ever had on a ship. We loved the space. Closet is placed a little oddly, but it worked.
Ship tip
Enjoy the meals in the MDR. Eat at Tuscan Grille at sunset. Casino is non-smoking so you may want to give it a little try.
Sailing in Cabo is amazing. We took a luxury day sail excursion. Fantastic. We got to swim, snorkel, SUP, sail (for real) and see 6 whales. Could not have been better.
