Cabin number: 1178

Review summary

The Wifi was not working on the ship; although the ship ambassadors were willing to help, it never worked. You're specialty restaurants are too expensive, starting at $55+ . Art on board is the same I've seen in other cruises. Add more storage to your rooms. Intercom was not working in Concierge rooms.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was organized and pleasant

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The dining experience was EXCELLENT! Mary, our concierge , wait staff Wayan,Budi and especially the manager on the 4th floor were the utmost professional and personable. We really appreciated their attention to detail and the great food.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not really things to do for seniors. Celebrity Eclipse waist/spends a lot of paper, ie advertisements on the shops, however the prices always remained the same. I did enjoy what to expect on the next port, there was not enough excursions.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Rich did an amazing job having some of the best entertainment available on the ship; from AJ the comedian to the dancers and acrobats on shore they were great!

Children's Programs

Although we didn't have any children, they did have a kids and teens area available.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Putu our room attendant was the best we've experience in any hotel or cruise, ALWAYS pleasant and professional.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship had a lot of restrooms available and always an attendant on site, not enough shops and the prices always the same never any deals. Elevators are too small; always crazy.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Clean! Size was perfect, not enough storage space though.

Ship tip

Take your time to go to the dining restaurants, buffet food is blah and the drinks including coffee are watered down. Sorry, but it's true.

Ports of call

Santa Barbara, California

Although our time here was cut short, it was beautiful. Thank you Rich for telling us about the Courthouse. Also ran into a cool resale shop called The Renaissance, you have to shop there ladies!!!

San Francisco, California

4 out of 5
I got to ride the San Francisco Trolley!! loved it!

San Diego, California

5 out of 5
Take the San Diego Trolly ride, it's worth it! Thoroughly enjoyed Balboa Park, we will be coming back!

Ensenada, Mexico

1 out of 5
We took the 4 hour excursion to the "geyser/blow hole" it was not worth it. I have visited many places in Mexico that are pleasing to the eye; Ensenada is not one of them. :(

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We had to leave early due to an early flight, the buffet stations were opened early for us.
