Very smooth. From our hotel in downtown Vancouver to opening our state room took less than 20 minutes.

Food and Dining

Blu is an excellent dining experience. Staff, and cuisine are well prepared. Tuscan Grille was quite enjoyable, and worth the visit.

Onboard Activities

Fitness center is top notch and there always seemed to be plenty of room to get around.

The stage shows were very entertaining. May have included a little more gymnastics than we might have thought, but that certainly wasn’t a detractor at all. Music was very good all throughout the ship. Ensemble lounge was really nice to wind down.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Shout outs to the following for exceptional service and providing personal touches throughout our cruise. To Wardan our room steward who brought us ice each for my wife’s ailing knee, to Fabian and Shankar in the Tuscan Grille who provided us with an overall exceptional experience, and to the following staff at Blu, Adina, who somehow managed to have our table for six ready no matter what time we arrived for dinner, to Martin and a managerial style that is engaging and extremely effective, and to Ida and Abdul who made our dining experience each day a pleasure. To the chefs at Blu who provided a world class menu only topped by their ability to prepare the food in such a way that we felt like royalty. A shout out to Candace who booked and help us prepare for this cruise. With her help it went flawlessly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Layout of the ship is well thought out. You can walk all over without any difficulty. The elevators can get busy, so the walking aspect is wonderful. For those who like to track my wife and I were well over 20,000 steps/day on the cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
As you would expect, the rooms are not huge, but very functional. I am 6’3” and the bed layout works and is very comfortable. Wardan our cabin steward was very good at keeping the room in order.

Ship tip

If you want a unique and very healthy dining option choose Aqua class for access to Blu. You will not be disappointed.
