Review summary

Nice to experience Celebrity for the first time, but not pursuaded to go exclusive. Too many interesting options out there in terms of itinerary and cost. BTY, the Captain was extraordinary! VERY hands on and visible with the passengers both around the ship and on stage where he was hilarious! A real departure from other Captains who are invisible.

As expected. Too many self important looking chiefs running around in the Oceanview Cafe. I say this because they were getting in the way of people dancing around with loaded plates.

Enjoy the subtle nice differences from other ships on other lines. Medium size is good!

Thanks for the upbeat review. Sailing on the Eclipse on the 18th, we can hardly wait. This will be our 4th with Celebrity, 15th total. We believe Celebrity offers a superior cruising experience, but we also patronise Carnival because from where we live it’s hard to beat Carnival for convenience and price. It’s a 10 hour drive for us down to Lauderdale or Miami for Celebrity.
