Review summary
Overall sailing on the Century was a wonderful experience. We did encounter a few problems, but the supervisory staff did their best to correct the issues that we had. Was very upset the last night of the cruise. We paid for 5 nights, and should have had the same amenities on the last night as the first. The soap dish was removed from our room, so that the soap (which had not been changed all through the cruise) was left on the bathroom counter. The fruit that had been delivered to our room before dinner was removed from the room by the time we got back after dinner. Found this very upsetting. Also, I had a problem with our luggage on the day we arrived. When the luggage was delivered to our room it was placed completely across the doorway entrance. The only way to get in to the room was to move the luggage. This meant I had to move the luggage in order to open the stateroom, and then move it again to get it into the room. Room service on the first morning was awful. We ordered coffee to be delivered it took almost 2 hours to get it. We called room service, because the book of ship's services and the morning coffee order (to hang on room door) was not in our room.Pros: The majority of the staff was wonderful, the dining room personnel went over and above to make everything memorable
Cons: The stateroom service
