Strange ship, that grew on me. awsome theater with the best shows I've seen. musicians around the ship seemed hamstrung by a "chill vibe"

Excellent. I was confused about the time, I showed up at the pier and it was deserted, no porters, no people just me and my cab , thankfully they had just enough people in the terminal to check me in

food was good, not great, but not bad. it was very confusing to me what was included and what was a specialty restaurant

I enjoyed an outdoor movie, trivia, slot tournament and several other things... good sea days

Entertainment

the production shows were a good as any I've ever seen on a cruise. I hate deducting two stars but the live musicians around the ship were too talented to play the monotonous play list they did, lots of lounge-ee "do you know the way to San Jose" type music. The night of our port day they had thier "B" entertainers all over the ship. The live music around the ship is so important to me on a cruise I may not be going on celebrity again.

It's a really cool ship... It is different. I'll admit it grew on me but a strange cruse ship in a good way. I loved the magic carpet

Cabin / Stateroom

the balcony or "verandah" is a completely enclosed little sun room with a switch that lowers the upper half of the window... it squeaked the whole way down and up... not a big deal... little wierd

Ship tip

The theater is a game changer. the backdrop of the theater is a 120 degree, 22 foot high 17 million pixel screen. Any thing from photos to video or computer generated graphics can appear behind the performers. the possibilities are unlimited! I think some other cruise lines have this technology but it was the first time I've seen it. We saw two amazing shows... Tree of Life and Crystalize

Thanks Picalo. Our cruise departs on Thanksgiving day. I figure a lot of folks will take that week off so a strong possibility of delayed lab results. I'm taking your suggestion to order the monitored Binax from Celebrity and self-administer at home. Will roll the dice on a pack of 2...one test per person. Nearest drive thru with rapid results is 50 miles away so that could be backup plan if necessary. 🤞

Gator , I ordered 2 test for 2 people...I had in my mind the concern of a botched test or a false positive. my back up plan was to get a full PCR test as we have a clinic in Jacksonville that is drive-up with same day results.

Picalo, thanks for the info. Did you order one test per person (2 pack for 2 people) or get extra tests just in case of inconclusive results?

Gatorhotline , I did order that test from the link provided by celebrity...I thought it was a little tricky but over all the easiest way to test. I give that test method 5 stats

willworkforcruz we arrived at the pier at 4:20pm and they sailed at 5pm. we thought it sailed at 7pm.so were happy we made it on board
