Rocky start but a perfect holiday trip for anyone!

Embarkation

Due to traffic, everyone was entering late. They processed us as quick as we could. That to say, was very nice despite the terrible experience entering port.

Food and Dining

Food was excellent on board. The quality is not as amazing but it’s better than most foods anywhere.

Bonsai Sushi

Ate here twice for dinner unexpectedly. We just happened to always be on deck 5 and hungry, so we’d skip MDR for this option. Their ramen bowls are amazing when the weather is cold and their sushi is phenomenal. It was entertaining to sit at the bar area. The cooks were chatting with us while making the sushi. Super fun!

BlueIguana Cantina

Fastest breakfast/lunch options. Super tasty too. Wish they had guacamole out with the salsa. You can only get it in the burrito line.

Guy's Pig & Anchor

Only available on sea days. I wish the app would have mentioned it on a port day or at least a sign. The food was absolutely amazing. Never expected to get amazing BBQ out on a cruise. The brisket was to die for!

Seafood Shack

Lobster rolls. Get them! You won’t regret it.

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. I do wish the steaks had more flavor in them. Maybe I prefer a lot of spice on my steaks and that might not be your cup of tea. Regardless, it was a delicious meal.

Onboard Activities

Only visited Serenity hot tubs and the aft Tide Bar pool. They were really good places to relax, a lot less children too. Got a reflexology massage at Cloud 9 for my feet and legs and it was much needed.

Entertainment

The comedians were alright, to say the least. Politics and racial things were brought up all the time. It’s nothing bad, I just wonder why that’s the tone to direct the comedy towards. I still laughed though, and enjoyed it. Just take note if this is not your style of comedy, then don’t go. We had Lance Montalto and Murray Valeriano. Latin Night was a huge blast, the game shows were super fun, and the musicians overall were excellent on board.
