We held off booking Vista because we thought it might be too large of a ship but it really wasn't much larger than the Breeze. We loved the layout, decor, and all the food/bar/entertainment options she had to offer.
Embarkation

Decent. For those of us with an earlier arrival time we still waited about 45 minutes to board the ship after check in.

Food and Dining

Due to sailing at 44% passenger occupancy, there were no lines or long waits at anywhere. The only problem was in booking at the Steakhouse due to inconsiderate passengers who booked earlier time slots and were complete "no shows". These jerks didn't even have the common courtesy to contact the steakhouse to cancel so their reserved time could be opened to other passengers.
Onboard Activities

Always something offered - lots of trivia, karaoke, poolside fun, bingo, ropes and the sky pedal thing. There was a good sized gym with many treadmills and other equipment. Again, with so few passengers, no line or wait times. We saw two first run films at the IMAX theater including the just released James Bond film.
Entertainment

Best rock band on the seas! And the violin trio wa sublime. What I really liked about the stage shows was the used the Latin band for the Latin show and the rock band for the Rock show. Live music! Great singers and choreography.
Children's Programs
Did not travel with children

Ship Quality

Hallelulah! First time one could walk the entire promenade deck without having to deal with smoke from the casino! Casino on deck 4 and glassed in. The ship was constantly being swept, dusted, cleaned, vacuumed. We found the Lido deck decor similar to the Breeze and the ship had a great layout with many indoor and outdoor areas to sit. The Havana Bar area was very pretty.
Cabin / Stateroom

OMG. Don't know how we'll go back to a balcony after having a 100sf patio! Husband commandeered the swing. The only complaint was the second "lounge chair" that was not adjustable and was a weird angle that only made it functional if sunbathing. All the cabanas were like a little street with a walkway steps away from our private pool/hot tub and bar area. No getting up at the crack of dawn to secure a chair. Always an available lounge chair in sun or shade. Also - no kids under 12. The cabins are a convenient location for all restaurants and pretty much everything on the ship.
Glad you enjoyed it...going on her 11/27, Havana Corner Balcony....you went on a "cruise within a cruise", thats what we try to do...even if it costs a tad more....and I'm holding my breath over the reports of the limited capacity, and what that means for the ambiance of the ship!!!!
My last cruise in 2019 was on Vista. She's huge!! I got off feeling like I hadn't seen all of the ship. I'll have to sail on her again to find out for sure though! 😀
