Review summary

I loved my cruise so much. Each day that passes now, I wish I could relive that wonderful time I spent onboard.

Embarkation

It was excellent! Everything was pretty smooth sailing (no pun intended) and the process was very straightforward and did not take a long time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There were a lot of options when it came to food. My group opted to have early dining at 6pm, and the selections for food they had were wonderful. The quality was superb and exceeded my expectations to what I thought it would be as it was my first time on a cruise. There are alternatives to the early dining such as the Lido Marketplace and premium options you can pay for. The lido marketplace is a buffet with lots of delicious options for food and sweets. I got to try Bonsai Sushi, The Steakhouse, and several other places and was not disappointed at all.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There are a good amount of things to do onboard. There's an arcade, slides, a couple of pools, a gym/spa, an arcade, and several bars/clubs as well as a casino and a movie theater. Each boat has it's pro's and con's, and well, there isn't that many activities for the family or anyone under the age of 18-21. The pools should be bigger if I had to be honest. The gym and spa are fantastic. Lots of equipment to keep you ship while away and a great spa to treat yourself to. I did not visit the IMax theater but they definitely had some good and current movie choices. The arcade was fun but could be better. The casino is pretty nice, and this was my choice to pass the time. There are a lot of okay machines, with the exception of a few you would find at any regular casino such as the buffalo and dragon link slots. There was a good amount of tables as well to accommodate for those who like cards and roulette instead. There is also a daily comedy show that was well worth it. Very funny comedians.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
If I had to be honest, the DJ's were garbage. They played mediocre music, didn't know to generate and keep the hype, and weren't very entertaining. Now, the main coordinator, Kyndall, definitely made all of that work and made it good. She was very entertaining to be around, and livened up the mood. Joey, the person who introduced the comedy club acts, also was very entertaining. In early dining, they would have a new show every day to show for. It was mainly entertaining for the most part. Every 15-30 minutes there was an activity for someone to do if it interested them.

Children's Programs

I did not get to experience this.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I had such an amazing experience with the service and staff. I'm going to start off with the most memorable and most heartwarming experience from the trip. My early dining was met by three staff members who were assigned to our table: Ana, Shimrei, and Bona. Ana is such a sweet, welcoming lady from Honduras and made me feel like I was at home with my mom and my family. She reminded me so much of my aunt, and strived to provide the utmost best possible experience for our group possible. Her colleagues Shimrei and Bona were so friendly and so amazing to get to know as well that I insisted on befriending them to keep in touch. They were possibly the best servers I have ever had and I mean that in a general aspect from just a regular restaurant to the casino and many locations I've traveled to. I could have not expected such an amazing set of staff members to tend to my group and will always remember the wonderful service each one provided myself and my group. The housekeeper I was assigned to, Dhevi, was wonderful. She made sure to tend to all of my needs when I requested and always made sure to go above and beyond. I had an issue on my third day where my A/C was leaking and left the carpet very wet and the room smelling awful. I went to complain at guest services because I could not stand the smell and could not sleep there and they took very good care of me! Not only did they move me into a new room, they also upgraded me from an interior room to an ocean view deluxe room for free as well as gave me two complimentary laundry packages since some of my clothes got wet. They were very friendly and helpful at the front desk.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I loved the layout of the ship and how modern and elegant it was. It is a bit jarring to learn the layout at first, but by the third day I knew my way around. Every area I went to was so clean I felt I could even eat off of each floor, restroom, etc. (Do not take it so literally lol).

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
For an interior room, the layout was nice given the small size. It was always cleaned very thoroughly, and the other room they upgraded me to, 1420, was the same way although much bigger given it was an ocean view room.

Ship tip

I would spend time learning the layout on the first night so you can learn your way around the ship.

Disembarkation

It was very organized, and very reasonably timed. NO issues to report
