Review summary

I was extremely disappointed with this cruise. I am not sure where to begin. The ship is one of the newer ones, but was not easy to get around. Also the staff, with the exception of Jay Jay & Esther at the Java Blue, was not helpful or friendly. Which brings me to the food; which was subpar. So we decided to go to Bonsai Sushi and while my wife recieved her food mine never came out so I had to have them remove it from my bill. We just did a 10 day cruise with Celebrity and that cruise was so much better. This could possibly be the end of my Carnival cruising.

I have nothing good to say about the Carnival Vista. I cruised this past February. The carpets were dirty in the main areas, you had to wait on average 15+ to get a drink at the bars, the service in the main dining room was sub par and the food was blah. The ship layout was terrible and the Liquid Lounge was ridiculously small and seating was uncomfortable. The only good thing about that cruise was the Cruise Director. I have sailed on at least 10 different Carnival ships and Vista was my worst experience. I cruise mostly Celebrity and RCL now, but if I were to cruise Carnival again I would only cruise on the Breeze or Dream.

We were on vista last year in December and it was fantastic not one problem food was good people friendly service excellence sorry you had a bad experience good luck with cruising out other crew ships most are more expensive. Also one side menu free room service the other side of menu you pay for. Going on Magic for New Years this year can't wait! Good luck!!!
