Review summary

Big ship! We had a great time cruising on the Vista. Great food. Excellent staff. Just wish they had more shows and there were ALWAYS long lines at the buffet stations.

I won't eat the buffet, except omelets, because I gave it 2 choices. I then stood in line for a delicious pizza! We'll also stand in line for Guy's Burgers. We're going to go to different venues, not the same place each meal.

Apparently, long lines at the buffet is a time-honored tradition of cruising with Carnival. I would guess that one would have much more variety at the buffet, as well as the ability to really pile it on nice and high, and then also start chowing down within minutes, instead of waiting on the whole table to order and then getting food one slow course at a time at the MDR!!!

Please know I’m using a curious tone when asking this & not condemning; if the buffet lines are so long, why not go to the MDR? I’m always curious as to why people skip the MDR in favor of the buffet. We are at the buffet once & I was not impressed
