Review summary

Moving forward I will try and take our vacations with any other cruise line than Carnival... extremely disappointing

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Terrible

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet was great as was the burger bar but main dining were slow, forgetful and didn’t offer any alternate options for the Thanksgiving dinner (which was awful)

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Main pool was freezing cold and tiny. The hot tubs were fill of kids who refused to use the pool, so were jumping in and splashing/playing there instead.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stage performance was great, and the comedy performance by Jon was brilliant, the other comedienne was just “not funny at all”.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
My son thought Cece was great, but soon stopped going because the number of kids in the group was way to large and it got extremely loud and out of control. I believe 2 groups may have been joined but not sure.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
The bar staff were just rude! They were also understaffed and undertrained... order one of their specialty drinks, when I commented it wasn’t like my previous one I was told “well it’s not my bar, so I make it up as I go along!” As a person who is allergic to certain spirits this obviously didn’t work for me! As a whole the ships personnel were rude, and unprofessional. We have sailed on numerous cruises with Carnival (and other cruise lines) this is the first time EVER leaving a terrible rating! I saw other disabled passengers being treated in a way that I wouldn’t even treat my dogs... it was disgusting

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
We feel that this room was a 2 person room that a trundle bed was squeezed into. As a person with spinal disabilities, and being registered disabled, our cruise professionals actually contacted Carnival to check the rule of room we had to make sure I could get to my bed... one on board I discovered I couldn’t walk between my sons trundle it was impossible. We spoke to Guest Services and was told that Carnival doesn’t guarantee that the room description is correct! (So what’s the point of having a description to help you choose a room?)

Ship tip

DON’T!

Beautiful beach

Nassau, Bahamas

We were hassled from the moment we got off the ship by locals trying to get you to purchase from them. We have been to the Bahamas on several occasions but this issue is getting scary and out of control
