Review summary
The beginning of our cruise started terribly. After standing in line for 45 mins and being the next to be serviced Andrea(blondeish hair) approached me and told me the line was closed. That the safety drill would be beginning shortly. After I expressed my frustration about waiting in line and being the next and knowing that after the muster drill guest services would be crazy. She told me it is the rules and that guest services was closing. Of course I expressed my frustration after waiting so long and she began to argue with me. Saying it’s the rules and she could do nothing. I am aware that once I left that line I would be standing in another hour long line to do the same thing I was already there for. She shrugged her shoulders and said she could do nothing and I was so frustrated I had to just walk away. She approached the group behind me and after engaging with them i turned aroun d. I wanted her name. She was incredibly rude and expressive with attitude rather than understanding and i wanted to make sure to let someone know. When I went back i discovered that group that was behind me now being taken care of at guest services. Are you kidding me! I got her name and walked away. When we came back after muster I was talking about my situation to the young lady in front of me and Miguel approached me asking first if i speak Spanish and then informing me of his knowledge of my experience earlier. He asked what i needed at guest services and if there was anything he can do. I told him i needed to add a credit card to one of my cabin mates account and if he could make it so i did not have to wait in this line again i would appreciate it. He looked at me and say there was nothing he could do and walked away. Why did he come over if he was aware of my situation and then do NOTHING? I felt like he singled me out because i was talking about the terrible situation from earlier and he just wanted to quiet me. I decided that very minute that I haven’t sailed with carnival since 2004 and it will be at least that long the next time because why spend my money with a company that treats consumers like this. After the poor experience with our room steward situation ITS CONFIRMED! I will continue traveling in my favorite form, cruising, just not with Carnival Cruise Lines.Embarkation
