Truly enjoyed the Carnival Italian Cruise fun! Sailing out and into NYC was very cool, don’t sleep in while sailing back into NYC it was so amazing!

NYC is definitely a little different, but overall it was smoother than expected, from what we had seen online. We had an 1130 arrival and were on board just after noon. Highly recommend you don’t arrive early, they will make you wait.

The food was excellent, loved our dinner at Il’ Viaggio and the Sea Day Bruch! Guys was great as always and the Chinese Buffet at the Seafood Shack every day was awesome. Don’t miss out on the Empanada’s in the Gondola Lounge!

The staff on the Venezia was fabulous, as we have experienced on every Carnival Cruise they will go out of their way to make your vacation great! If you can’t have fun on a cruise I’m not sure you can have fun anywhere!
Ship Quality

The ship was fabulous and well laid out, very much like the other Vista Class ships with a few small differences! The Italian differences were actually awesome! We have read complaints about the Lido pool area but we loved it, especially the balcony areas! Having Java Blue there was perfect as well!
Cabin / Stateroom

It was perfect, well designed and comfortable! Glass shower is alway a plus! Our Steward Ni was amazing!
Ship tip
She is slightly different from the standard Vista Class ship, so go explore! Overall we loved the Venezia!
Absolutely painless, we chose to take our bags off ourselves and we were off in 15 minutes! Recommend walking a block away to say 10th avenue to call for an Uber, it made our pickup super easy!
