A relaxing trip across the Atlantic. Would not do this ship again.

Embarkation

This was the first sailing as Carnival Venezia so they had a special ceremony in the terminal before boarding. Barcelona has it down packed, very smooth process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Guys burgers didnt hit the same as other carnival ships. Main dining room food was definitely lacking and I skipped most nights due to the odd menu choices. I usually just ate pizza or sushi.

Onboard Activities

My first transatlantic, I expected more. There is only so much you can do with so many sea days.

Entertainment

Some shows were corny but live music was great every night. Skipped color my world as I saw it on celebration.

Service and Staff

Room steward was efficient. Bartenders were friendly. Dining room staff seemed very stressed.

Ship Quality

I did not like the layout of the ship. I also feel like the design was lacking in areas but I know it’s a former costa ship. The lido area is Way too small.
