Review summary

I am giving Valor 5 stars because it was my first cruise and it was a wonderful experience. Even with some issues we had with the room but since it was my first cruise I don't know if it was a normal experience or not. I shall find out when we go next April on the Vista. Overall the boat was nice, drinks were yummy. We loved the table they put us at in the MDR. People were so friendly and hope to remain in contact. We never got into the pools or hot tubes just seemed over crowded. We did enjoy the shows even made it up on stage for the 70s show. Fun to work with the cast. Participated in a slot pool... no luck, did the slot pool with Carnival had a ton of fun ended up not winning but still tons of fun. Did win my money back on the slots and broke even. The steakhouse was delicious! Seaday brunch was amazing, the French toast omg so yummy. I could not eat even 1 whole slice. It was just large portions.

Valor was also my first ship and my kids still talk about the food! Absolutely the best!

I will be taking a 5 day on the Valor next May. Really looking forward to it. It will be mine and my wife's first cruise.

Glad you enjoyed and are looking forward to your next one. It’s always fun to see a first time cruiser enjoy there trip, even though some things may not have been perfect. Some seem to have their expectations set too high while some longtime cruisers seem to become overly critical and forget the wonder and awe of their first cruise.
