Review summary

Overall it was a good first cruise. The cabin was what we had seen online. The food was good. My husband's favorite was the Guy's burger stand. The drink "kiss on the lips" was super yummy! We enjoyed the piano bar nightly. I loved the serenity deck...adults only yay! The crew was thoroughly entertaining the entire time.It would have been nice if the crew knew where the smoking areas were or if they were posted on a map...I think you are leaving it too much to the passengers to figure it out on their own. Loved Half Moon Cay...my favorite! We were supposed to get off ship at 8:15 and it was 9:30 when we finally got off...wish I would have slept more instead of trying to be pro active on disembarking. We will definitely be cruising with Carnival again.

It was exactly what we saw online and worked great for us. I probably will not book a balcony room again because we spent most of our "deck" time on the smokers deck.

We like the 8 day trips out of port Canaveral. Aruba, Bonair, grand Turk or SAN Juan, St. Kitts, St. Maartin, Grand Turk. The best we thought was Panama and Costa Rica but Carnival does not have that one scheduled through 2018. We like fewer ports and more days at sea

We just got home today and kiss me on the lips was my all time favorite! It was refreshing and yummy. I too was not impressed with the food other the breakfast and guys burgers.With the crew sometimes they forget some of us are first timers. What we did learn were from others that cruise quite a bit. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and looking to book our next one. We probably will never do a 3 day cruise again. Lots of reasons on that part. We are wanting 7/8 day cruise. Not sure which, and suggestions?

In Sept. the smoking areas were listed in the daily newsletter large in the cabin at night as well as being announced over the intercom a number of times. I just read on one of the sites where you can look up the cabin number to see the description of a cabin and it said smoking on the balcony which is a no no on all carnival ships. So who really knows.
