Review summary

It was a very odd layout, to get to the formal dining room we had to cross the ship either on the promenade (we were on the front of the ship and the dining room was in the back) or through the hallways of the rooms and from there go down from the elevators to access it. The food was okay, the attention we got was not great. the dining room staff seemed to always be in a hurry and seemed kind of upset if you had to call them in to request something else...

We aren't partiers\, so there weren't too many activities to do. There was a \"magic show\" which was not good at all... the other shows were \"okay\".

It was an inside stateroom so we knew we were getting something small and dark\, no surprise there! Our steward was great though\, always clean and he was a really nice person!

Pros: The ship itineraries

Cons: The layout was very inconvenient\, long lines for everything\, the buffet was very impractical

Recommends Carnival Valor? No.
