Review summary

The ship was beautiful. Very well done. Our stateroom was very nice. The balcony is a bit small, but we knew it would be as most of them are not large, only 35 sq feet. The bed was OK, but our room steward got us a mattress topper which made it quite comfortable. The lounges were nice - the entertainment was good - The spa was nice. There is plenty to do and everything is well taken care of.

Food and Dining

Perferred the open dining. The food at Rosie's restaurant was somewhat bland, but not bad. Scarlett's Steakhouse was a fabulous experience and worth every penny of the $30.00 per person sur charge. Sushi bar, burrito bar,deli bar and pizza place all had great food.

Entertainment

At sea days were always filled with something to do for all ages. They cruise director kept us well informed through the cruise ship channel.

Service and Staff

Our room steward was great - room was always clean. When we told him our mattress seemed hard he found a mattress topper immediately and had it on our bed before we returned to our cabin that afternoon. The formal dining was very good and the waiters were very attentive. Service was good all over the ship never had to wait for anyhing.

Layout is nice and easy to navigate. Everything was clean and the stewards were always busy keeping it that way.

Cabin / Stateroom

The size of the room was nice for two - any more than that and it would have been crowded. Closets were nice sized - the balcony was a bit small. Bathroom was OK in size. Decor was nice. Room steward was great - very attentative and our room and bathroom were always clean.

Pros: Scarletts Steakhouse

Cons: Ports of Call were too short
