Review summary

We were on the Valor over Spring Break and Easter. We thought it may be too crowded, but you would have never known it was such a busy week. We were also afraid it would be overrun with kids (college and high school) but it wasn't. We brought our kids, 16 & 13 and we all had a fantastic time. The ship was clean and the service was great.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We thought we'd do the early seating since we tend to eat early at home, plus we thought the kids would be hungry. Next time we'll do a late seating since we came back from our shore excursions in mid afternoon. Of course we were starving after those so we had to eat. But because we liked the dining room, we had to go BACK and eat 2 hours later! We can never miss a meal.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The nightly shows were great. Even my teenagers enjoyed them! We had a comedian, juggler, magician and some song and dance revues.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was wonderful. Of course our dining staff was the best! We celebrated our son's birthday the first night on board and they were wonderful. I had pre-ordered a cake and it was DELICIOUS!!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had 2 adults, a 16 yr old boy and a 13 yr old girl. Our daughter was in the "bunk" that came out of the ceiling over our son's bed. Our room was great. We LOVED the balcony. Not only did it provide some extra room, but it was wonderful to have privacy. Our balcony chair even folded out flat to sun on.

Pros: Shore Excursion & Nightly Entertainment
