Review summary

My father in law passed away right before we sailed, and my father has been in and out of the hospital for the last 12 months, so we just needed some time away from reality to relax and get some rest. We didn't do much,, but that was perfect for what we needed.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We were Priority cruisers, since I am disabled and booked an accessible room. We got conflicting directions from the staff regarding which line to wait in. They started late, but our room was ready as soon as we boarded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We choose Your Time Dining, and we're not disappointed. Food was great, drinks were great.

The Big Easy Piano Bar

5 out of 5

We went here three of the nights in board. Hannah's singing and playing were fun, and Stefan took good care of our liquid needs.

Redfrog Rum Bar

The hostesses made it a point to seat is in the same spot every night, with the same team. They were great!! Thank you to I Putu, I Gusti, and Luisito for taking such good care of us!!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There is a lot todo, but we didn't really do much.

Capitol Atrium And Bar

4 out of 5

Bar was a good place to hang out and people watch, but I didn't care for the group that was playing here.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We really enjoyed singing at the piano bar with Hannah. Went to the comedy show on the last night and thought that the wait was not worth the 30 minute show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff were super helpful, friendly, and they really made us feel special. By the first morning, they knew us by name, and greeted us with smiles and offers of assistance. I was in an electric scooter due to mobility problems, and they always looked out for me when they saw me coming. Shout out to dining room staff I Putu, I Gusti, and Luisito, and to Alchemy and Piano Bar bartenders Ivona, Ivana, Nikola, and Stefan!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Very clean, but design is outdated. They have begun work on the re-design. Most areas were accessible to me in my scooter.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The accessible room was nice. They upgraded my room choice when I asked for accessible room and we got a grand suite. There was an automatic door, extra room to turn my scooter, and accessible bathroom with handrails.

Ship tip

If you struggle with mobility disabilities, it's worthwhile to rent a scooter, even if you don't normally use one. I was able to enjoy my trip with less pain, and more independence.

Glad you could relax. Were you able to bring your own scooter on board or had to rent?
