Review summary

Embarking was easy. Food was good, but the lines were long. The casino area was fun, but way too much cigarette smoking to really enjoy staying there very long. Our deck steward was very nice, even finding us a box fan. We left our valuables in our room safe. Lots of activities for all, the waiters were very accommodating, especially if you tipped them well. When disembarking, we had to be out of our room at 8:30am. If Carnival would allow you to stay in your room, until your deck was called, it would be so much smoother for their employees. It seemed they made it so much harder on themselves, because people are fighting to get off, when the vacation was over. All in all, a great time.

Service and Staff

Some were helpful, others were not. The ones who were not, acted like they didn't understand English. Very annoying.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Efforts were made to maintain cleanliness during the cruise, however, there are areas that are old and nasty (carpet, walls, chairs).

Cabin / Stateroom

Overall nice. The toilet was old, stained and dirty. The pink counter top was cracked and stained, as was the shower. The carpet was a bit smelly.

The reason you can't stay in your cabin is because the staff is trying to get the cabins cleaned so that the next cruise guests can start boarding.
