We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time aboard the Carnival Triumph on our Western Carribean cruise. The attention of most every crew member was wonderful, particularly our cabin steward and assistant and the staff in the dining room. Our 5- & 3-year old children enjoyed many activities at Camp Carnival, with different face paints each day and even a talent show at the end of the week. The dinner choices varied each night and the majority of the entrees were excellent. We also managed to select a couple of desserts to share each night.
Like most every other person on our ship, we went to Stingray Beach. While it was very interesting to see the Stingrays up close and also snorkel at the nearby coral reef, the whole area was very crowded. There were two other ships in port that day, which meant 10-11 tour boats at Stingray Beach. While I'm sure many of the first arrivals had a wonderful day, we were a little disappointed by the fact that the number of Stingrays around us was very limited.
If you golf and expect to play nice resort courses, definitely don't play at Sandals GC. It was very average and felt like a waste for the nearly $200 fee. The rest of our family went to Dunns Falls and had a good time, but I felt like a wasted an opportunity to see a little bit of Jamica.

There simply wasn't engough time to thoroughly enjoy our excursion to the Xcaret Geo-Archaeological Park. We snorkeled through the underground caverns and swam with the dolphins, but felt very rushed to catch the ferry from the mainland back to Cozumel. We could have easily spent a full day, if not more, at this park.
