It was a nice quiet cruise. The food has gone downhill but we still had a blast.

Embarkation went really smooth. We picked an early boarding time, but no one seemed to even ask.

The food has gone downhill a good bit compared to years past. Blue iguana cantina is the best food on the ship. Guy’s burger joint has gone downhill a lot. They no longer have mushrooms or bacon on the toppings bar, the burger patties are smaller and they don’t put much cheese on them. Food in the main dining room is alright. The buffet is eh… overall good quality is at most 3/5.

Our son loved the kid club activities. This was his first cruise and he had a blast. I would highly recommend it.

This was our second time sailing on the Sunshine. The first one was shortly after it switched from Destiny to the Sunshine. The first cruise the ship seemed dirty and not didn’t have a very “new” look to it. This time around (several years later) it was much cleaner.

Ship tip

I’d avoid Guy’s burgers. It has gone downhill. The blue iguana cantina is the best food on the ship.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Princess Cays is amazing! The beach is beautiful and there are plenty of chairs with shade. No need to purchase a clamshell. The palm trees provide shade. The bbq lunch provided was pretty good too!
