Review summary

Enjoyed our cruise ~ it was fun! I’ve been on an Ecstasy and Fantasy cruise with Leon as the cruise director on both! Chicago was good but no one compares to Leon!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining meals were mostly excellent. We didn’t especially care for the Specialty restaurant we chose this trip. The buffet food was ok but the desserts were not good at all.... it seemed as though the sugar was left out of them all!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn’t do any of the activities listed except have lunch on the pool deck. It was fun watching all the people and the ice sculptor

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Stage shows were excellent! Comedian, Chris Wiles, was hilarious!!!! Bingo was fun.... didn’t win but came close!

Children's Programs

No children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward, Jomal, was outstanding!!!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Layout and design was good Common areas were clean and well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our room was very comfortable, larger than last time, and very clean on the inside. We had two windows in our cabin, one had a dirty ladder of some sort in front of it and the glass was blurry. But we enjoyed the room and the view very much!

Ship tip

It’s a great ship to take for relaxation!

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Absolutely Beautiful!!! We took the boat tour of the island, (our guide acted more like a strick school teacher than the usual funny guild) and enjoyed seeing the beauty the island has to offer. Only thing I’d suggest is that the boat or excursion outlet where ticket is purchased to inform the guest there are two areas to go for the cookout!

Nassau, Bahamas

Very commercialized but also several fun places to enjoy the local cuisine and drinks. We took the Rum & Chocolate tour. Be prepared to drink a lot (5 shots at meeting place, one large rum drink at lunch, another large rum drink are the brewery) eat a snack & small tasty lunch and nibble on two small pieces of chocolate (which were handed to us rather than allowed to pick our own... one was mint chocolate-I hate mint! Our guide, Mikey, was excellent! It was more walking than advertised and not enough chocolate. We thought we were going to explore the chocolate factory but instead visited a small chocolate candy store located in the front of the area the candy was being made. All in all, it was a fun excursion!

Disembarkation
