Review summary

This was a nice cruise for the holidays! The kids enjoyed the lighting of the Christmas tree, the special visit from Santa, and writing a letter to Santa. Our family enjoyed playing a game in the library every evening after dinner. Half Moon Cay was our favorite part of the cruise . . . it is as beautiful as a postcard!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
the food was good, but not a lot of kid-friendly options at the buffet, and no gluten-free options

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
pool, hot tub, water slides, library/game room

we did not attend any of the entertainment options, due to the young children with us

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
besides Camp Carnival, there were very few options for children and families, especially on days at sea. PG-13 movies were shown earlier (which are not appropriate for young children), and then G and PG movies were shown later (when younger children are already in bed).

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
everyone was friendly and professional!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
everything was clean and well-maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
nice size and space, room enough for two adults and two children

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We really enjoyed seeing the Queen's Staircase and surrounding area, as well as the Straw Market

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
