Overall enjoyed myself very much. A few hiccups here and there but I would definitely cruise on sunshine again
Embarkation
3 out of 5
The set up was confusing sailing out of Charleston for the first time. The seperate buildings and and shuttle bus made us a little frustrated but it was not as bad as it seemed to other people, we have priority boarding, but other without, or who did not purchase fttf complained.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Deli, pizza, and Bonsai sushi were good. MDR was slow..took about 20 min for someone to take our orders, then about 25 to 30 min to receive our food. Then it was not hot..warm at best.. or waiter never offered us lemonade or water, we had to stop someone else who was walking by to get some.we were traveling with our 2 children, we decided not to go back after first night.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Was pleased with the activities on board. They are pretty much the same across the fleet. Either way we played some of the games, went to the shows, as a family we attended the Michael's craft activity, hasboro.game show. Overall pleased
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Shows were ok, have seen better on other ships but weren't terrible. Dj was just ok.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
Our kids enjoyed the activities. Weren't a whole lot of kids, thats a good and a bad thing...good for adults, bad for the kids..lol
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Overall ok. A few bad apples here and there, room steward was great. Bar staff in casino was hard to get drinks from, seemed like they didnt have enough of them in there, maybe cause half the ship was traveling on free drinks in the casino..lol
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Pretty clean for the most part, you can tell tje ship has some age to it. Nothing to really complain about.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Had some aged areas, but our steward kept it very clean.
Ship tip
Deck 5 is main deck to get to all other public areas. You have to walk through the casino and it is filled with cigarette smoke..you have been warned
