There was a lot of winding though the parking lot and a bit of confusion. It it was one of the fastest embarkation so far. Everyone was supper helpful and directed to the right location most of checkin procedure was done before you got out of your car

The layout of the ship was very confusing took us till the 3rd day to figure the layout. Very poor decision on carnival to put the casino on one of the main decks , 5, and the only way to get through is to walk in the middle of the very smoky casino. I am a smoker and I felt bad for the many kids having to walk through with their families. I had read the reviews about this issue and I never thought it would’ve been that bad but it was.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was my only sore subject. Once we got into our cabin first thing I noticed was it had. It been dusted for quite some time the class shelves were pretty bad. No biggie. The curtains were in desperate need of replacing from some stains, but then I walked on to our balcony and the dividers on each side need replaced. They were rusted and paint after paint was peeling off. I had the best views for the sunrises and sets. The bathroom was very awkward since the toilet is at an angle and the door is right between you. Plenty of storage, closets drawers and shelving. Hint) there is a drawer under the couch you can use for storage also
Ship tip
Download the carnival hub app it was the best invention ever ! You can remake reservations from it, see the activities. And much more. Tip your cabin stewards and favorite bar servers a little extra and they will take care of you much better. There are 2 restaurants behind the lido market Buffett that is free and open for breakfast and lunch.
Tip: when you get off the tinder boat go straight to find your beach chair all the way down to the right in front of the make shift pirate boat. It has a bar and bathrooms and a little less crowded music playing and the float rentals then do your shopping on your way back to the ship. Free Buffett lunch is served around the picnic area and it gets busy but goes though quick also pretty good food!
