Review summary

Cruise overall was great. There was some issues with bad kids running up and down the hallways late night, there should be some sort of curfew. Kids were messing with elevators. Loved Mikey the Cruise Director, loved the PG comedy shows, enjoyed the Lip Sync Battle and other shows as well. Food was good, could use some improvement here. Venues were small but we always got there early. Loved our room steward, Pong Pong... kept room clean, always got us anything we needed. Towel lady on Lido Deck was super nice. Spent most at sea days on Serenity Deck but had to get there at 6:30 am to get a chair and then spent the day making sure we didn't spend much time away to get breakfast and lunch. Drinks took a long time to get on Serenity Deck. We will be cruising again on Carnival! Thank you to the staff who made the experience great.

Breakfast and lunch was great. Dinner was just ok, both the dining room and buffet. We did anytime dining and that was great, no wait, no issues getting a table. Went to Italian restaurant and that was good. My kids had the bubbles plan and sometimes the bar staff ignored the kids who wanted a drink. Adult drinks were good otherwise. There could have been a better variety of desserts. My kids probably ate about 10 ice cream cones a day, so that was good for them!!

Onboard Activities

Pool was small and packed. My kids did enjoy the sports stuff and waterslides. We used the walked track and that was good.

Entertainment

Everything was AMAZING!!! Went to four PG comedy shows and laughed our butts off. Most venues were way too small... usually standing room only. If you didn't get there 45 minutes early, you were not getting a seat. Mikey the cruise director was the most awesome cruise director EVER!!! We all loved him. He was funny, full of energy and always got the crowd engaged. He was always the best part of the show.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

This port was good. Went on the all inclusive Coconut Beach excursion. It was just ok. Great beach. Too windy to use kayak or board, or to even snorkel as rip tide was strong. Food was edible but not very good. Fabio the guide was great!! Just felt for the money, excursion was sort of a bust.

Took forever!!! Didn't get off until 11:30 am and family was getting hungry and tired of waiting.
