Review summary

It was wonderful. Plenty of great food, drinks. We however didn’t get our free drinks. My grandson in the other cabin who is 8 , was charged a gratuity. His parents paid which I understand, and me and my roommate did also. But an 8 year old being charged is rediciolous.

To turn your lights on in the cabin, put your room key in the slot by the door. We had to figure it out. There should be a sign.

If he never uses the dining room, you can get that part of the gratuities off. Actually, you can take all of the gratuities off.

The breakdown of where the gratuities go is on your sail & sign account. Over half of it goes to the cabin steward. I’d assume your 8 year old grandson slept in a bed, showered daily - using towels which needed to be washed & replaced, and had his room cleaned daily? The fact you think him being charged a gratuity is ridiculous, is ridiculous!!

Wow... he was waited on by the waiters and he had his bed and room cleaned... probably more work for room stewards and dinning staff than any adult!
