Review summary

Visiting the 5 Ports, very, very nice.  Docking at a Port back to back was a little hard for me.  Several people told me the same thing.  The Sunshine very pretty Ship, but very disappointed with the entertainment on the ship and with just about everything closing down at 11:45pm to MN.  The lounges very dry and quiet, karaoke only offered 2 or 3 times during the whole 10 days.  The rooms seem so small, smaller than the other ships.  I hope the next ships Carnival builds, they build the swimming pool bigger....The pool is ridiculous.

Service and Staff

Our Dining Waiter would bring 2 appetizers at one time, slack on bringing tea, soda, ice etc., but very nice. But, his assistants, Macbeth and Luis where wonderful, they where having to help the other waiters, also...they kept us with plenty of bread, etc.

Ship Quality

My only complaint with the ship is the very small rooms and the very, very small swimming pool!

Cabin / Stateroom

Very small, no storage space for 10 days, had to walk side ways to walk beside bed and wall. Bathroom small, but ok. Need hooks around room to hang housecoat, bags, etc.

Ship tip

Great Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers on the LIDO Deck....

if you go vacationstogo you can find the cabin sq.footage for a particular cabin on each ship. I think you will find that all of the inside, ocean view and standard balcony cabins are basically the same size on all carnival ships.

It took a lot out of me too but that was the only reason I went so I pushed myself & am still paying for it a week after we got off the ship. The islands were worth it. The rooms probably seemed smaller because they squeezed 182 more on the ship when the refurbished it in 2013. We had a balcony that was a good size. Something just said splurge on a balcony. Lol

We went on a 14 day, 8 island cruise. They were all back to back and I agree, it took A LOT out of us. We got off the ship in every port and about half of them we had excursions booked. It was truly a trip of a lifetime though. We were on the Pride. Sailing Sunshine for the 1st time next year.
