Review summary

The room was in a terrible location constant noise from engines. The room had no cooler for cold drinks. No toilet articles just soap.

The free dining was not good, had to go to a different deck to check in than the restaurant. Other than that everything else was very good.

@rhdsailor. You didn't have a shower/shampoo dispenser in your shower? We were on the Sunshine (we had a balcony), and our "free" food was better than our last 2 cruises. Did you try the main dining room? I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

We also pick our own room. We have a balcony on deck 8 picked this time around. It's my first balcony though. 😆

I agree, stateroom location is very important to us. I would not be comfortable letting them choose for me, clearly they are going to put you in rooms nobody likes. We always choose Verandah/Balcony rooms mid ship. I always check the floor above to make sure its staterooms over ours.

Some times people get tricked by offer of very low cost cruise,then find out why. They are assigned staterooms that are least desirable. Recommend choose your own stateroom and pay a little more. I book 6 months to a year and always get a balcony. Hope the next time you have a better cruise.
