As this was our first cruise, I don't have any complaints. We enjoyed ourselves very much and we're glad we chose to cruise for our anniversary.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Getting on the ship was a bit hectic but was to be expected with so many passengers. Once on the ship, we enjoyed rum punch and were able to go ahead and grab lunch. The employees were very nice and welcoming.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We didn't do any specialty dining but the food was very good with many great varieties to choose from.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We were looking more for the relaxation part of the cruise so we mainly hung out by the pools during the day, utilizing our drink package but there appeared to be several fun things to do.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The comedy shows, dj, and bands were very entertaining and we enjoyed them all!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward, Ida, was awesome! He was very personable and always had a smile on his face! Bartenders were good as were most of the workers we came in contact with.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was a bit confusing at first but once we got the hang of it, we had no issues. The ship was very clean and well kept.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The size of the cabin was bigger than I thought it would be and perfect for the two of us! Ida did a great job keeping it clean.
Ship tip
Don't overpack. We spent more time in swimsuits than anything and unless you are one to really dress up, I would skip the formal nights. We didn't do them because I didn't want to pack that much. We simplified our cruise by packing less and I have no regrets!
Nassau in my opinion was very dirty. We didn't do any excursions due to this being our first cruise and not knowing what to expect. We did do a tour with a local who was very knowledgeable about the island and took us to some neat places but the beaches we saw were very dirty with trash and debris.
