Don’t travel with kids on this ship. One of the worst layouts I have ever seen.
Embarkation

Kept changing embarkation time. Many bags got transferred to the wrong ship. Once the ship started around 8 they were going really fast, so if you have motion sickness bring those preventive things.
Ship experiences

Good restaurants!
Onboard Activities

Many to do. Pool and spa and etc
Entertainment

The Arcade was nice but was closed most of the time. Stores were nice, and cheap discounted stuff. Bought a lot, but wasn’t great. Everything started ripping.
Main Show Lounge

Almost everything is r-18+.
Service and Staff

Staff and waiters don’t speak English which makes it hard to communicate. Usually in carnival cruises the crew don’t speak much English but it gets very awkward and so.
Ship Quality

Boy oh boy, will I rant on this one. The ships layout was horrible compared to other ships I’ve been on. You have to cross through the casino each time you want to go somewhere. If you don’t want to cross through the casino you have to walk all the way to the other side of the hallway and just take a right and walk like a mile you finally go to the glass elevators. That’s the only way you can go to the lobby. In the lido, they kept cleaning the floors which made it soaking wet. The crew cleaned the floors all the time so you couldn’t really do anything. The water would sweep into my shoe making my socks soggy. Once I entered my room, I looked to turn the light just to see someone’s card in there! A DEBIT CARD. It looked like the stateroom person didn’t clean properly and there was no shampoo. I asked for more and they gave me some.
Cabin / Stateroom

This wasn’t my real cabin number. I had a balcony, with a window. I’m not revealing my cabin number because I don’t want crew to see this and find out who I am. Room was pretty nice, and balcony was big enough. Tv was also big and there was a couch. There are a lot of chargers compared to other ships. 3 usb and 2 plugs. The lights also stopped working on our first day so we were on the ship with no lights on. It was just our deck and the electricians were fixing it. The water worked so I went to take a shower but couldn’t see anything so used my phones flashlight. The balcony room next to us was way to noisy. So was the person above us. Ps, I’m writing this onboard ship but won’t be able to submit till the 25th. Did I say, that someone left their Debit card on the table of the room?
Ship tip
Don’t go with kids and use the GLASS elevators instead of the real ones.
When we went we were informed by the cruise director that Nassau had been on the us departments list of do not travel because of crime rates. I checked on the us department website with carnivals wifi network and it said that crime happens on south of Shirley street and jet ski operators do the most crime. It may change over time but when I read it that’s what it said. So we accidentally went south of Shirley street not knowing where we where going and there was no crime I could see. The people were nice and the beach was also nice. They closed the Atlantic island ferries though and a third party jet ski driver said he would take us 90$ each person but we said no and left. Also, we were supposed to go to Bimini, but it got canceled and was a fun day at sea and was roaming near Florida
Nice island. Not a whole lot to do without excursions. We went on a snorkeling excursion which was fun and got to see coral reef and colorful fish. It’s not a real port you have to take a ferry and only 150 people can go on one.
Yes you mentioned the DEBIT CARD but in the first story the card was in the light slot not on the table. A mid ship casino is a pretty common ship design so it is a frequent complaint to have to walk through the smokey casino to get anywhere but this is the first time I've read a complaint that the crew cleaned the Lido deck so much that your socks get soggy. That is memorable! By the way, the crew always know who writes reviews about them so you are tagged for life. ;)
