Review summary

Overall we had a wonderful cruise. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the ship and most guests complied with COVID protocol. The staff were always friendly and attentive.

Embarkation

Quick. They seem to have the new protocols down. From dropping off luggage to getting on the ship took 30 mins. We had 10:30-11:30 check in time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Little disappointed with dining room menus but food was still prepared very well and servers were excellent. Very quick service. Buffet had good selection and Guys burger was fabulous as always. Cucina was excellent for dinner and a nice lunch option away from the crowded buffet.

Entertainment

We enjoyed the nightly shows and the Sunrise Rock Band. They were excellent.

All of the ships’ personnel were friendly and made sure we were taken care of.

They were cleaning constantly. I was really impressed with how clean the ship was. I really liked the layout of the ship and all the upgrades she has. There was sewage odor occasionally. We especially noticed it on Deck 3 and 6.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was very clean however I wouldn’t recommend this cabin. We booked a balcony cabin to spend time on our balcony away from crowds on sea days. Both sea days there was a very strong sewage odor that lasted for hours. Guest services said they really didn’t know what type of maintenance was going on but I’m sure this happens often. The room had weird popping cracking noises possibly from the sway of the ship. The bed was extremely hard. We asked for a topper and it was a little better but not much.
