Review summary

Overall, I enjoyed it. I wished I knew about the additional fees / charges at the end of the ship. I enjoyed the food. I hated that my family and I couldn’t sit together. I wished there were more excursions at Princess cays. I wished I knew that kids who are not potty trained can’t go into the swimming pool. I wish there were more hot tubs than just 4. I wished there was seating assigned for buffet. People were rude as heck for breakfast line, not enough food. I didn’t even get eggs. It was that bad.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
We couldn’t sit together - my family. And when we asked, the answer was no. Why couldn’t people reserve if they want to dine in the radiance room or not?

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pools - my 2 year old couldn’t even participate bc she wasn’t potty trained. I wished someone told me this before I booked the cruise. I think swimming diaper should be good for my 2 years old.

Service and Staff

Great! Very happy and smiley people! Except for the people in the food line. Omg. Rude.

Cabin / Stateroom

I loved the size. The only think I didn’t like was when we stopped at Nassau, my bathroom started to smell like a portal potty. Ugh!

Ship tip

That there are fees and expenses to be aware of.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Always research. All information is on the website or forums like this. Poor planning on your part is on you.

And why couldn't you all sit together? Yes the buffet can be crowded and crazy but there is always one of the MDR that serve breakfast. Research before booking a cruise. And would you want to swim in a pool with kids who aren't potty trained? Swim diapers are a waste in my opinion!

JT1962 is correct, if you did not prepay your gratuities, they are added to your Sign and Sail account. Other than those you should have known what was charged to your account.

Sorry that you were unprepared but as everyone else has stated must do your research and the cruise line has a very informative FAQ page. Good luck on your next trip.

Do your research regarding kids before booking. They are never allowed in a pool unless potty trained.

Not sure what fees / charges you are talking about at the end of the cruise, but if it was the daily gratuities or drinks or other things purchased on board, all of those are covered on the website and in the cruise contract you must agree to when booking the cruise. It’s always a good idea to do research before you go so you are aware of what is and is not included. I am confused about who was rude and why you didn’t get any eggs at breakfast. Not sure if it was employees or other passengers, but either way, I’ve never seen them run out of eggs.

Most cruiselines have a place on their website with information for cruisers. You should always research on other forums, people give great information.
