Review summary

A promise fulfilled. A great time with my daughters and family. Next time it will be a longer cruise and after May. It was too cold and rainy on most days to enjoy the pool and outside activities.

Buffet areas were extremely overcrowded at all times. Main dining rooms and specialty restaurants were okay. The staff works really hard but we still waited for our food on some occasions.

Pools were always crowded and parents allowed their children to play in the whirlpools. That was very annoying. We did experience rain and cool weather so many activities were canceled.

Did not like the layout. You cannot access the dining rooms unless you go through the casino where smoking is allowed. It was a constant up and down.

We never walked through the casino to get to the TYD room on our last 2 cruises.

Been on three Carnival ships and you always have to walk thru that smelly casino to get to the dining room. Yuck! Guess they planned it that way for maximum foot traffic.

Having to go through a smoke filled casino to eat is BS. NCL Joy is the first ship I've been on that has a completely enclosed smoking area in the casino. 😁
