Is there a way to send in proof of vaccinations so you don't have to worry about showing card at port?

Yes it’s in an app called VeriFLY, it’s nice in that your vaccine cards and testing if applicable are reviewed and approved in advance. Nice peace of mind!

You have to bring card or have a digital one with you

Verifly worked well for us in May. We did not need to show the actual card, but we had it just in case.I recommend you bring the card with you and have digital copy in your phone. We were asked to show proof in a few ports. They were fine with the picture of the card.
