Review summary

The shows were amazing. 'Vroom' was more than what I expected and very entertaining. The food in the main dining room was delicious and the steak was the most tender cut of meat which I'd gladly compare to any 5 star restaurant. Sadly, on the second night it wasn't listed as a 'choice' so I paid an additional $20 for the surf & turf which was overcooked and less flavor than the 'included' steak from the night before. Room service was quick and efficient for those late night cravings and lots of choices to choose from. Our balcony stateroom was perfect and very quiet with the most comfortable beds. The negatives- breakfast in the buffet was terrible and the bacon was inedible. Our server in the main dining room was rude and only spoke to the men at the table. I understand in some cultures to look down upon the females but he needs to realize that he is serving all nationalities and in the USA we are treated equally. Overall this ship was fun with lots to do onboard and the Casino was paying out with a lot of happy winners onboard.

Quiet- great views. Great beds. Easy to navigate the ship quickly without a lot of extra walking.

Ship tip

Don't spend the additonal money for the surf & turf in the main dining room. It wasn't worth the extra $20. The food on the menu was delicious.

I have seen extra charges for certain dishes on MDR menus.  I agree, go to the specialty restaurant if you want a higher cost entree.

Perhaps this waiter was newer and had not yet dropped his 'home' culture-based habits. I'm not looking for excuses, the behavior is completely out of line on any cruiseline.

I had the waiter that was opposite of yours.  I had one that ignored the men at the table and fawned over all the women at the table.  I had his tips removed from the auto tipping.

I never knew there was a Charge in the main dining room for steak and lobster on the second night..... I would never pay that there, and would add 15 dollars more for the steak house where is is Fantasic!
