Review summary
This was the 4th Carnival cruise I have taken. The ship was larger than any of the other Carnival class ships that I have stayed on. I highly recommend the spa rooms. These rooms are on the higher floors(10,11) of the ship. They are decorated nicely and have little foot traffic outside. There is a \"secret\" staircase to the spa above if you stay on deck 10. The spa room comes with access to the Thalosso spa (hot pool with dead sea salts) and tile sauna areas. Other guests had to pay $270/week/couple to use the spa areas. The food at the b'fast buffet was terrible! Scrambled eggs that tasted like powdered eggs next to baked beans for b'fast. Room service menu was limited to cold items. Lunch and dinner were better. The rotissere on deck 10 was consistent and never crowded. The Mongoloian grill had a 30-45 min line. I highly recommend Your Time dining. Make sure to get there early or there will be a long wait. The bottomless bubbles drink card was a good value if you are a soda drinker. Bring a large plastic cup with lid to carry your beverage around ship. Never had a hard time finding an open lounge chair. The casino was small, but a fun distraction. Be ready for them to take your picture at every turn. Wait until the last day at sea to buy stuff from the ship store for the best deals. Be prepared for lines everywhere you go from getting on to getting off the ship. Had a good time but not great.Ship experiences
