7 Night Mexican Riviera (Los Angeles Roundtrip)
Sail Date: October 21, 2012
Ship: Carnival Splendor
Cabin Type: Suite
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 4 years ago
Cabin and cabin staff wonderful, but finding a bar staff on deck or lounge was like needle in haystack. Buffet was terrible, makes Hometown seem like luxury. Breakfast especially bad.

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Plean to eat every night in the steakhouse if you want good food.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The piano bar makes up for all the other sub-oar entertainment.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Cabins good but comedy presentation room way too small. Deck space limited\, especially if you wanted to be in shade sometimes.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size good\, jacuzzi wonderful\, did not need the bidet. Balcaony very nice.

Pros: Piano bar

Cons: Buffet

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.
