An Average Cruise

Sail Date: December 24, 2011

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

It was an average cruise except for the entertainment which was excellent. The service, food, and cleanliness were all average.

Pros: The shows

Cons: The meals

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.

Ship Quality
Your views were obstructed by the water spots and dirty windows. Several stain on the carpet. Room service trays were left sitting in the hallways for hours. Tables in public areas were not kept clean making it difficult or impossible to find a clean table. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the ship..
Food and Dining
The food was not impressive. Average cafeteria - hospital food. Nothing to write home about.
Service and Staff
Average not above and beyond. Average
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom was excellent and it was kept clean. Great Job. Thanks
Entertainment
Entertainment was excellent. Great Job.. Thanks
