Carnival Splendor Cruise Review to Europe - Northern Europe
Review SummaryWe took the second cruise of the ship in July 2008, a tour of several Baltic ports. The tours of St. Petersburg were very rushed and crowded. Quite disappointing, but you couldn't leave the ship on your own without a $1000 a day chauffeur. It was always a visceral shock to return to the ship. The entry was a revolting combination of pink, black and silver. Giant lifesavers in the same bilious colors decorated elevator doors. Other ports were quite nice with the exception of the stop that required a 4 hour train to Berlin. Not worth the time.
