Review summary

This was our first cruise and we had a wonderful time. There are so many fun things to do for the parents and the kids. Our boys, 6 & 8, LOVED the "Green Thunder" slide, the water park, and the pools. The staff is fantastic, detailed, and friendly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dinner in the Empire Room and Steak Nouveau was fantastic. The buffet was not as wonderful - they didn't have enough healthy food options - and the buffet that was available all day only had fried/greasy food which was unfortunate.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
They had a lot of shows late at night so we didn't get to see them since our kids go to sleep around 8:30. Our friend's saw the shows and thought they were great. I wish they had some options during the day.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Camp Carnival was fantastic and the kids loved it. They had a lot of fun with their activities, games and staff. They were excellent.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff went above and beyond. Their doctor was fantastic - one of the best I have seen - and everyone was friendly and attentive.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was really easy to get around the ship. It was very clean, and while some of the decor was a bit out of date, it was fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The beds were very comfortable, the sheets super soft, the room was functional and fine for 4 of us. We had a balcony which was fantastic and something I highly recommend splurging for.

Pros: How easy everything was.
