Review summary

The loading experience was the worst ever. It took hours to even get onboard. We were stuck in a line. Then to get off the ship we had the same problem. We were supposed to arrive at 8AM and did not get off the ship until almost noon. We kept asking for assistance and were blown off. The ship itself was nice, but the help we recieved when we asked questions as we tried to get on and off the ship was horrible. We complained to numerous people, we got many different answers so feel we were lied to. It ruined the trip. Others at out table and who were in line with us all discussed how poorly run it was.

The food was great. The dining staff was very helpful.

Entertainment

The main entertainment was great. The side activities not so great. The singers in the bars were really cheezy. The games and trivia was possibly the worst on any of the cruises weve been on.

Service and Staff

Nobody would offer assistance that was useful. We were told to call 1800CARNIVAL. We were given many different answers to the same question, no idea who was telling the truth. Nobody even seemed to be truly apologetic about the problems.

Ship Quality

Size, layout, and cleanliness were all excellent. The only things Id change is update the room decor a bit, and less people on the ship if the staff cannot figure out how to get everyone on and off the ship. The Pharoahs Palace was real nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was loud due to possible engine noise. Other than that the room was great. It could use a little decor update in the room, but the rest of the ship ws beautifully decorated.

Pros: The food

Cons: Boarding Disembark and the service were horrible!
