Review summary

Overall very good cruise. Hear so many good things about Dominican - but Amber Cove is not the way to see Dominican Republic. Boat is pretty small and outdated - pool was very disappointing. Staff on Sensation are AWESOME!! Fun Squad is guaranteed good time!

This was first time ever we had virtually no line to embark - from time we got off our shuttle to stepping on the boat was like 15 minutes!

Disappointed that the captains dinner no longer offers free lobster. All other cruises we have done (including other Carnival ships) had this free that night...for this cruise it was a $20 charge.

Very disappointed with this port. The beach was not within walking distance so only thing to do after the small number of shops is the pool. Pool was nice but expected beach at this port.
