You get what you pay for, this ship is best for the young traveler without expectation. Not someone who wants the finer things in life.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Overall it took about an hour... not bad.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The main dining room (eat when you want) ALWAYS had a wait. If your hungry plan on waiting a half hour to 45 min. The service was slow and the food seemed to get progressively worse as the trip went on.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
There were not many activities on this cruise. I found that to be disappointing. I did however enjoy the spa area and gym very much.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Really not much for entertainment- know before you go!!! Comedy... that’s about it!
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Wait staff- not great!
Room staff was good!
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
This ship is OLD and run down... lots of “out of order signs” time to retire it or update it!
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The ONLY thing saving this trip was that I got a balcony- there are very few on the ship, that was shocking in itself. It’s not fancy, but it’s your own outside space...
Ship tip
Get a balcony and don’t expect much because the ship is old.
We went to Ocean World for the dolphin encounter. Let’s just say Mexico did it better. Was not overly impressed, but loved the dolphins and love bird encounter.
Water and beach’s are beautiful. We went to a private beach away from the port and crowds... trust me on this one! Outside of a beach day- not much to do.
Where going in May. Its been awhile since I cruised the Sensation. I focus more on meeting new people haggling out with my hubby . Life too short for complaining especially if you don't do your research.
